The department's vision is to be seen by our customers as a key partner in enabling their success, and to achieve the common goal of being the best managed state in the nation Divisions within the department include the Director's Office, Consolidated Laboratory Services, Engineering and Buildings, Real Estate Services, and Purchases and Supply.

These distinct divisions require personnel with very different occupational skills such as contract managers, scientists, architects, trades specialists, housekeepers and accountants. DGS looks forward to finding creative solutions, developing new programs, and building productive partnerships and relationships with its employees and customers.
